Hey there, I recently joined an online yoga program and I wanted to give everyone out there a quick review of YogaVibes Online yoga classes. YogaVibes offers subscriptions and video bundles – click here to check out their website!

Quick Review:

Product: Subscription / PPV Online Yoga Classes
How much: FREE 15 day trial, then $19.95 monthly OR $199.95 yearly
Site review: Easy to navigate on a laptop, Lots of Videos, Free app to use on your iPhone
Rating: 4.5 Stars
Opinion: Love the free trial! The teachers that I chose to watch so far were very knowledgeable and easy to follow. There is a great filter that helps you to easily narrow down your practice choice depending on your focus, level and style, and then you can add specific classes to your favorites.

More Details….

Going to a studio for a yoga class has its pros and cons.

On the positive side, you get to meet people, see friends, use props you may not have at home, and hopefully have a teacher watching and correcting your alignment.

But sometimes you just want to do yoga in your pajamas, or aren’t looking to spend an hour in class plus driving time, or need a specific focus for an injury, or maybe the timing of the desired class doesn’t work with your schedule.

If that’s the case, then the internet is a great place to turn to. Although YouTube classes are always free, sometimes are hit or miss for the practice you are hoping for.

Subscribing to an online yoga program can give you more access to higher quality videos and teachers than what you may find on YouTube. is an online yoga program that gives you access to over 1000 yoga classes. The monthly cost of this program is about the SAME PRICE as one drop-in class at a studio near me. The best thing about an online program is that you can filter the practices! This assures that you will get exactly the practice your body wants and needs. The filters this site uses are:

You can choose your practice by specific body part – like hips or chest and shoulders – or by specific yoga pose groups – like forward bends or twists. There are also over 275 short tutorials on the correct alignment of yoga poses that you can add to your favorites list and easily access by a menu in the top-right corner of the website.

There are over 90 instructors to choose from. Once you find one that you like, you can add it to your favorites with some comments to remember why you liked or disliked that particular practice.

Since I promote simple and gentle yoga, I am so happy to see that there are over 200 practices for Gentle Yoga, Slow Flow Yoga, and Restorative Yoga combined! Of course, there are other styles of yoga that seem well represented here.

You can choose anywhere from 1-5 minutes or longer than 90 minutes as a filter. This works great if you are short on time, or are just beginning and want to ease into yoga slowly.

There are just 4 choices here – All levels, and Levels 1,2, and 3 – with the most challenging poses in Level 3., build a yoga body, cultivate a yoga mind
Outside of the monthly subscription plan, you can also pay for a la carte classes ranging from $2.99 – $4.99. These come with unlimited lifetime access to stream online.

Monthly subscriptions also make great gift cards….the holidays are fast approaching, wink wink 🙂 ….

The YogaVibes2Go app

The app is free to download on your iPhone and the experience is a little different than using a laptop. The menu choices that you have are videos, favorites, downloaded, my videos and about.

Unfortunately, you can’t filter the practices with the app. The best way to use this app would be to add videos to your favorites when you are on a computer so that you’ll know which ones you like to use and can easily use them wherever you are!

Overall, in my opinion, this is a great program and well worth trying for FREE for 15 days!  See the link below for an awesome bonus for signing up for the yearly membership!

  1. I might have to try this out. Right now I use youtube and found some good instructors, but the classes get stale after a while. I don’t know that I would necessarily want to use the subscription because my work schedule is so random, but the a la carte option sounds incredibly affordable. A class is $10+ anywhere near my house…

  2. This is awesome!! Thank you for sharing this. I’ve used YouTube in the past but this seems like the way to go with being able to choose specifically what you want and easy on the go access with the app. I can’t wait to start the free trial!

    1. Hi Sheree, You’re welcome! I definitely appreciate the filter and being able to quickly choose what would help me that day. Good luck with the free trial! Please come back and let me know how it worked for you!

  3. Hello Andrea,
Great review and thanks for sharing your insight. I like visiting your cyber-space – chock-ful of information. This app sounds interesting. And you are right on so many levels – not wanting to do the commute to a class, too tired, not wanting more than a basic session, et al. I think this should offer a good alternative. I might go and check out the 15 trial – why not~
    Thanks again.

    1. Hi Michelle! Thank you so much! I think it’s a helpful addition to going to studio classes and a 15 days for free is enough to decide if you like the program!
